OneDose™ is a patient dosimetry verification system which measures radiation
dose through the use of a small, disposable, adhesive patch that is affixed to
the skin at the site of radiation prior to treatment. Immediately after
treatment, a handheld reader is used to display the data from the patch, stores
the data in the microprocessor and allows the data to be exported to a
centralized data management system. The patch can then be discarded or retained
in the patient’s medical records.
The results are accurate, immediate and captured as part of a
permanent record.
