OneDose™ changes everything.
Specifically designed with the patient in mind, OneDose™ is a patient dosimetry verification system which uses a small, disposable adhesive patch. The patch is simply affixed to the skin at the site of radiation prior
to treatment. Then, immediately after treatment, a handheld monitor reads the
data collected on the patch and stores it on a computer. The patch can then be
discarded or kept in your medical records.
The result is immediate feedback, a permanent record of the dose and time, good accuracy due to factory calibration and -- because the device is small, painless, wireless and easy to use -- time savings. Most important, you know you have received the dose that was prescribed.
One very important benefit to the OneDose™ system is that is also measures
scattered radiation; this information can be used to help minimize damage to
sensitive organs like eyes.
